Description Fine, large chart of the Caribbean Sea & the West Indies islands includes the southern tip of the Florida peninsula and the Bahamas, Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti, Puerto Rico & the Virgin Islands & the Leeward and Windward island groups. At the top of the chart are 3 insets 1. The Virgin Islands, 2. Martinique and 3. Guadeloupe showing excellent and finely engraved island contours. In lower left is a section of Guatemala & the Mosquito Coast. This is a fine chart produced by a premier French cartographer in the early 19th century.
